The JJBS Woodland Cemetery is an environmentally and ecologically-friendly way of burying loved ones. The Cemetery has been developed as a natural wooded area with only British woodland trees, shrubs and plants, over the years it will develop to full maturity into a native woodland.
These are our latest spring photos showing the newly created pond and developing spread of native spring flowers across the site. In this beautiful natural environment the graves are marked only with a small ground level plaque rather than a full tombstone. If you wish, the grave can be marked with a small flat gravestone that will gradually sink into the ground over time.
